To increase the speed at which regulars are served, one of the leading restaurant solutions provider wished to create an SDK which allows customers to interact directly with the kitchen during their dining experience.

Designed to be integrated directly into any restaurant owner’s mobile application, the Proximity SDK uses BLE beacons to recognize the restaurant’s store number as the customer walks in. This allows the user’s phone to communicate directly with that location’s Point of Sale system which enables any number of desirable experiences.

Once an order is linked between the phone and the store’s POS, the customer is free to sit where they choose in the restaurant. With BLE Beacons installed at each table, the Proximity API is able to report back to the POS which table the oder should be delivered when ready. 

For the customer; however, linking to the store’s POS enhances their dining experience.
